Welcome to our website where we have 3 large properties available to rent for family and friends reunions and celebrations in beautiful locations in the North Yorkshire Moors. 

Each house is unique and makes a perfect home from home to host a get together or holiday whether it be for a short break or a longer stay we look forward to welcoming you.

The houses can cater for groups up to 10 (Fern Lea), 12 (Helena) and 16 (The Old Vicarage) guests and four legged friends.

The Old Vicarage - in Rosedale Abbey sleeps 16 in 8 bedrooms (6 ensuites) set in a stunning location in 2 acres of private gardens with views from every window. It has a large dining area, two lounge areas plus a snug/games room and has plenty of space for a large group of friends or family to spend a relaxing break together in beautiful surroundings.

This is our largest and most luxurious property set in a stunning location on the edge of a pretty village nestled in the bottom of a valley with stunning views in every direction and wonderful walks on the doorstep. The village has two pubs and two tearooms (which also sell a small selection of fresh groceries and local produce) making it a perfect base for a relaxing break. The homemade cakes and locally produced fresh bread are not to be missed!

Rosedale was the centre of the Iron ore mines in the late 1800's. The village has remained unchanged for the last 200 years and is a picturesque place to spend a break in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors. 

Helena - in Goathland sleeps 12 in 6 Bedrooms (2 ensuites) with an additional 2 family bathrooms is a short stroll from the village centre. There is a large dining room and lounge together with a well equipped kitchen (including an Aga). The house make a great base for a relaxing break in one of North Yorkshire's most famous villages. There is a private garden and patio to the rear of the house and off street parking for up-to four cars. It is a peaceful and stunning location in the heart of the moors. Goathland is 15 minutes from Sandsend beach and Whitby, both of which are sure to feature on your visit to the area.

Goathland has featured in a range of tv shows most famously the home of Heartbeat , and more recently Harry Potter's Hogwarts Station and the home of the Channel 4 documentary on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway which passes through the village a short walk from the house. The sheep graze the common which runs through the village and are rounded up each night by the local farmer with his quad bike and sheep dog every evening. In addition, the village has 2 pubs, a number of tea rooms and a couple of small shops selling essentials. 

Fern Lea - in Sleights sleep 10 in 5 bedrooms (2 ensuites) with an addional family bathroom and downstairs toilet. It is equidistant to the Moors and the Coast (within a short drive of the beautiful Sandsend beach and a stones throw to Whitby).

The house comfortably accommodates up-to 10 in 5 bedrooms, all beautifully decorated and furnished for a perfect break away from it all. The ground floor has a large lounge, separate dining room which is just off a modern, well equipped kitchen which has access to the rear garden for outside dining. The rear garden is on two levels with steps up-to the top level as Sleights is built on a steep hill in the Esk valley. Parking is on street at the front of the house.

Located a short stroll from the village centre which includes a Spar, butchers and bakers plus a further walk up the hill to the top of the village is a fish and chip shop and a pub. There is a train and bus service to nearby Whitby which is steeped in history. Sandsend is a 10 minute drive where there is a beautiful stretch of beach which you can stroll along at low tide for the couple of miles walk to Whitby. The Moors are a 15 minute drive inland so you have the best of both worlds on your doorstep.
